Tan Malaka (TM) adalah tokoh pertama yang menulis gagasan berdirinya Republik Indonesia tahun 1921. Tokoh ini sangat misterius, ia hidup dalam pelarian di 11 Negara dengan 23 Nama samaran. Ia diburu oleh Polisi Rahasia Belanda, Jepang, Inggris, Amerika dan China.
Ketika perjanjian Renville pada tahun 1947, memaksa Devisi Siliwangi keluar dari Jawa Barat dan hijrah ke Yogya. Atas surat perintah Panglima Besar Soedirman, TM membentuk Tentara Rahasia untuk mengisi kekosongan Pejuang di Jawa Barat, Yakni Devisi Bamboe Roentjing (BR) yang terdiri dari 5 Brigade. Masing-masing Brigade berkekuatan 15 -17 Batalyon, diantaranya Letkol Muhidin Nasution sebagai komandan Brigade A, Letkol Muhammad Choesnoen komandan Brigade B, Mayor Waluyo komandan Brigade C, dst. Kolonel Sutan Akbar sebagai Panglima Devisi BR.
Namun sayang, Siliwangi merasa dihianati dan rakyat terprovokasi hingga beranggapan BR hanyalah gerombolan pengacau keamanan. Sungguh tragis sejarah ini tidak pernah diungkap oleh rezim orde lama maupun orde baru. Bukti dan Fakta sejarah perlu digali dan diluruskan kembali, karena sejarah merupakan warisan luhur yang dapat menggugah dan menguatkan kembali semangat kebangsaan.

Pendidikan terakhirnya Vorvoleg (Sekolah Kepandaian Putri). Ibu rumah tangga yang memperoleh penghargaan Pemerintah RI sebagai Veteran Pejuang Kemerdekaan karena amal bhaktinya kepada nusa, bangsa dan negara dalam merebut dan mempertahankan Kemerdekaan RI.
